Skiing on pistes as wide as motorways plus indulgence at Austria’s highest café

Pitztaler Glacier features pistes for skiers of all abilities, being one of the most ‘snow secure’ and at the same time, most demanding glacier ski resorts. The ski season begins in September. Austria’s highest cable car – the Wildspitzbahn – transports winter guests into the eternal ice. You can ascend from the valley station to 2,840 metres above sea level and then to the 3,440 metre high Hintere Brunnenkogel peak. The famous ““Café 3.440“ awaits – Austria’s highest coffee house with its own cake creations, free-floating terrace and glass frontage, providing panoramic views of over fifty 3,000 metre peaks.

Attractive pistes, deep powder snow slopes, a six kilometre long toboggan run and charming catered mountain huts will have winter enthusiasts leaping with joy. Due to its altitude at 1,450 to 2,450 metres and its new artificial snow equipment the ski resort can guarantee undimmed ski and snowboard fun until late spring.

Leave your car behind while you are on vacation. The regional ski bus takes you to the ski areas for free. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel! And you have also made a small contribution to the environment.

You will find easy, medium and difficult ski runs on the Pitztal ski map – whether it is a wide glacier piste or excellently prepared pistes down into the valley. Furthermore isolated powder ski pistes or non-slip snow ski runs await you – diverse skiing pleasure on some of Tyrol’s most beautiful ski pistes is guaranteed!
